Shine On!

 Good day and welcome!
This layout was done with the Radiance Collection from Blue Fern Studios.
I used doilies as my design element for this page. I used a Prima doily stencil and some Coral Me Crazy Dazzlerz from Shimmerz to add some texture to my background. I then cut out a doily with a Prima die and my chipboard piece is also like a doily.
I cut some of the papers in various formats. I used the Journaling Cards Stamp and stamped out a few cards as well. I layered these various elements behind my photo. I also used a few pieces from the ephemera pack.
A close-up of some of the blooms.
I used a variety of blooms. Some from Prima, others from 49 & Market and Apricot Blooms and Fresh Florals from Blue Fern Studios.
For my title I used an ephemera piece and trimmed it into a circle.

That is all for now. I have just received a parcel with the new A Romantic Life papers and chippies! I can't wait to start a new project and play with these pretty papers!

I will see you soon! All the best! :)

Beauty

Hello! Welcome. I am back to you today with a layout done using the gorgeous Pretty Mosaic Collection.
I've used the March Limited Edition Kit from My Creative Scrapbook Kit Club
The kit this month is gorgeous!
Pam Rangel knows how to put together an amazing kit full of all the things you'll need to make several layouts.
The kit comes with 3 packages of gorgeous Prima blooms.
This layout was inspired by the uber talented Marilyn Rivera design team member at My Creative Scrapbook. I basically scrap lifted her design. I used mists in burgandy, green and gold for my background. Then I used a stamp from Blue Fern Studios to add some black for some dramatic contrast to the colors. I used the leaf stamp that came in the kit to stamp out some leaves in teal to match the papers.
I framed my photo with blooms, ephemera, and printed chipboard from the kit.
Close-up of the gorgeous blooms in such rich colors!
I used one of the chipboard titles included in the kit from Creative Embellishments and heat embossed it in gold to match my background.

I really look forward to getting my kit each month! I find it so easy to do a layout when everything is color co-ordinated and put together for me.

Now that I am home more (we are in self-imposed quarantine) I will have the opportunity to play more with my supplies. I hope that you are well and being careful. I have to admit that I am more than a little nervous about the current situation in the world today. We have never seen anything like this. We have chosen to isolate ourselves as we both have underlying health issues and compromised immune systems. I suffer from anxiety and this has just pushed it to overdrive! I hope and pray that this situation will resolve itself sooner rather than later. Stay home and if you do have to go out be safe!

Wishing you all the best! :)

Cherished

Good afternoon, I have a new layout for you today using the gorgeous Apricot Honey Collection from Prima Marketing that was included in the August Limited Edition Kit from My Creative Scrapbook Kit Club
This little cutie belongs to a family I follow on Youtube. They are full time RVers (my goal one day!) and they blog their travels all over the U.S. The papers in this collection were perfect for this innocent little sweetheart.
I covered my page with transparent gesso to start. I then placed my photo and went all around it with heavy gesso to cover up some of the busy background paper. I then used a stencil and added molding paste in a lace design and heat embossed it with gold embossing powder. A little stamping finished off the base.
I used some of the die cuts from one of the papers and some ephemera to add little areas of interest across my page.
A little resin frame showcases a butterfly that I fussy cut from one of the papers. I fussy cut quite a few flowers from the page and surrounded my entire photo with them. The cherished piece came from the chipboard pack that came with the kit.
More of the fussy cut flowers along with some gorgeous blooms from Prima. The heart is also from the chipboard pack. I also added some light pink beads across the page for added texture.
More fussy cut blooms and some Art Stones. I treated the stones with gesso then rolled them in Distress Glitter from Tim Holtz.
My title is also from the kit from Creative Embellishments.I heat embossed it with Geranium Coral Blush Embossing powder from Lindy's Stamp Gang.

I enjoyed working with these papers and will probably use what I have left to make some cards. Hope all is well with you! All the best! :)

Remember

Welcome back! Today I have a layout done with the Eclectic Charm Collection from Blue Fern Studios.
These are my Godparents. Sadly they have both passed (way too soon). They owned a small Bakery called Ingmars Bakery on Yonge Street in Toronto. Some of my best childhood memories come from visiting that Bakery.
I mixed some Pressed Petals mist from Prima in with some molding paste to use on my background with a stencil also from Prima. I did a little stamping for more interest.
I used some lace from Blue Fern to frame part of my photo.
I used the chipboard Deja Vu Luminaires for this page. I liked the elegance of them. I used black and garnet embossing powder to add color. I used Prima blooms from the Darcel Collection.
The second Luminaire.
I used some Melanges from Prima and painted them with some Prima Art Alchemy paint in metallic Black Berry. My title comes from the Ephemera pack.
That it's for now. I hope to see you soon!
All the best!
