6 My Creative Sketches July Challenge

This month brought the most gorgeous kit from My Creative Scrapbook!! Filled with Prima's Garden Fable Collection! So I thought why not do the sketch challenge with it? And this is what I came up with.
My adorable granddaughter Emily on her 6th birthday this July! Wow they grow so fast!! She's like a little doll. So petite and the sweetest smile but in this photo she was all about the glam! This was the sketch that I had to work with from My Creative Sketches
Just a couple of close-ups.
I did alot of fussy cutting for this and then had to go back and color the roses darker to match my theme. The chipboard is from Blue Fern Studios.
I masked the background with an older Prima stencil. I wish it had come out better than it did but it's not horrible so I left it alone. The flowers and chipboard as well as the papers are all from the LE kit from My Creative Scrapbook. Hope you enjoyed! See you soon! I hope! All the best! :)

So Sweet

I fell in love with these papers from Lemoncraft's Dreamy Mornings line!
I applied gesso to the background and misted some of the bright colors from the photo onto the background. I also used my new stamp from Blue Fern Studios to stamp a small pattern around the page to break it up a bit.

Love these gorgeous blooms from Lemoncraft. Initially the yellow ones were white but I wanted to draw more of the bright colors from the photo so I misted them with Tattered Angels Marigold. Then they were too bright so I went over them with gesso to tone it down a bit. Lemoncraft also has these adorable little chipboard pieces! I used a Pastel ink from Prima then added some micro beads in blush.I also did a little masking to add some texture to the page.
Another new fav are the coordinating ribbons that come with this line. I adore this pink pompom ribbon! So adorable! You can see in the background that I used a doily and inked it as well in the same green.
And last but not least my title. Dusty Attic. I kept it simple and went over it with gesso then inked it with a Prima chalk edger in Pastel Green. While drying it some of the gloss started bubbling up. I decided I liked the look so I continued with it throughout!

Well that's it short and sweet. I am exhausted! One hour sleep last night ugh! Off to do some reading before I hit the sack. Have a great evening! All the best! :)
