Lucky in Love: Bo Bunny Layout Challenge

The Bo Bunny Challenge this month was to scrap something lucky. For me it was a no brainer I'm so lucky to have the husband I do and after coming so close to losing him in 2011 I am more grateful than ever so here he is my guy. . .
This is my husband John. We've been together for fifteen years, married for two of them. He is a motorcycle afiacondo and loves his bikes! Yes he has three of them. This one is his Victory the other two are Harleys. He is an avid outdoors man and loves to ride in the summer and  jetski and in the winter he is out burning up the trails with his snowmobile. Right now he is going stir crazy as the season changes waiting for the roads to dry up enough to get his bikes out. This year we are "thinking" about doing the Sturgis Run!
I used a combo of Weekend Market and Etc papers. The alphas are from Prima's Mistable Alphabets Stickers.
I loved seeing the zippers on many scrappers pages and tried it for myself. The zipper is from my old jeans and the key is from Maya Arts. Paper clips are from Tim Holtz. I misted some lace in Tattered Angels chalkboard mist in Alaskan Salmon and inked along the outside edges with orange colorbox ink. The Octagon Mask is also from Prima.
I used the transparency cover from Bo Bunny's Ect. tags book and put it underneath my heart. The heart itself is from Basically Bare Essentials. Again sprayed with the same mist as the lace Alaskan Salmon and then covered with Gloss for the shine. The tiny heart with the keyhole (symbolic of the key hanging from the zipper, key to my heart) is from my stash and the metal angels wings I can't place but I love them!
The roses are from Prima, the wodden heart is from Prima's Romance Novel line wooden buttons amd the cog on top is Tim Holtz.
The flowers are from Petaloo I picked them up at the Art House in Cambridge. The cogs are from Dusty Attic. painted with two different colors. The metallic paint is meant to make them look aged and used. The small roses are from Prima and the metal embellie saying Destiny is from my stash. The white filament around all of it is Bernat Knit from Michaels. I got this idea from Gabrielle Pollaco. Underneath it all I used a Prima mask went over it with Chestnut Roan ink and then outlined it with black marker. All the stitching was done by hand!
We are coming up on the Easter weekend and I would like to wish each and  everyone of you a very Happy Easter! May the Easter Bunny be good to you! :) Be well and see you soon! TFL!
